SEWEREX – Granular caustic detergent

SEWEREX is a, granular, concentrated detergent for one stage cleaning of domestic and industrial drains, where fats and oils are a problem.

FEATURES AND BENEFITS OF SEWEREX

·         SEWEREX has a blend of chemicals to react on oil and grease from most drains.
·         SEWEREX has wetting agents enable it to penetrate porous surfaces and be effective, yet still rinse off easily.
·         SEWEREX is suitable for removing fat and grease from drains.
·         SEWEREX is caustic to help break down fatty deposits.
·         SEWEREX can be applied by pouring into the drain.
·         SEWEREX is hygroscopic and therefore the container should be stoppered on storage.
·         SEWEREX can be used on hot or cold surfaces.
·         SEWEREX is non-flammable and contains no chlorinated hydrocarbons.
·         SEWEREX is suitable for clearing blocked fat traps and fat blocked drains.
·         SEWEREX is corrosive to aluminium, zinc and galvanised materials.

PACKAGING
SEWEREX is packed in 25Lt drums, 4x5Lt boxes and 5Lt containers.

RECOMMENDATIONS

Oven cleaning: Switch off appliance. Apply to soiled surfaces by brushing or
spraying. Allow 5 minutes contact ( hot oven -70 deg C ) or
15 – 20 minutes contact ( cold oven ), then wipe with a damp cloth,
rinsing frequently.

Grills, Utensils etc.: Use a solution of 1:10 ( for heavy soiling ) in hot water.
Use a solution of 1:10 ( for light soiling ) in hot water.
Soak for 30 minutes and then rinse thoroughly.

Drains and Fat traps: pour concentrated SEWEREX into drain or fat trap
Followed by equal quantity of hot water.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Safety glasses and gloves to be worn at all times.
SEWEREX is corrosive, causes severe burns.
Accidental contact with sensitive skin, rinse well with water. Seek medical advice.
For accidental eye contact, bathe well and seek medical advice.
Ingestion: drink plenty of milk or water. Do not induce vomiting. Obtain medical attention.
